Wireless & Communications grants

5G/6G, spectrum and secure comms funding

Spectrum efficiency, resilient networks and non-terrestrial connectivity are funded across Innovate UK, ESA and Horizon Europe. Winning proposals link a specific physical-layer or protocol innovation to a measured performance gain, not to a market forecast.

[Horizon - Industrial Competitiveness in Transport] Enhanced resilience in multimodal passenger transport through digital technol…

What the Grant Supports This call supports the development and large-scale demonstration of AI-driven and data-enabled solutions that improve the resilience of multimodal passenger transport systems across Europe. The focus is on enabling transport networks (urban, suburban, and long-distance) to anticipate, manage, and recover from disruptions such as congestion, extreme weather, infrastructure failures, cyber incidents, or operational shocks. Projects should use digital technologies and AI (including generative and discriminative AI) to improve real-time decision-making and system coordinat…

EU funding

[IHI] A network to boost the next wave of European innovations in healthcare

universities, research organisations, patient organisations, SMEs and mid-caps

The maximum amount to be granted to each third party is EUR 2,000,000 (EUR 1,000,000 + EUR 1,000,000 as detailed below). The programme should provide funding through a two-stage grant structure: an initial grant followed by a potential follow-on grant. • Initial Grant: Via a competitive FSTP call, each startup could receive a milestone-based grant ranging from EUR 100,000 to EUR 1,000,000. Funding is disbursed only when agreed technical and development milestones are met. • Follow-on grant: Those start-ups receiving an initial grant which demonstrate exceptional potential and strategic relevance could unlock an additional grant. This follow-on grant may also range from EUR 100,000 to EUR 1,000,000, is also tied to milestones, and aims to accelerate further development, validation, and industrial adoption.Rolling or to be confirmed
